Real Couple Spotlight: Sarah & Andy

Ever since Sarah first caught glimpse of a beautiful bride arriving at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion in Cinderella’s Coach she dreamed of one day having a Disney’s Fairy Tale Wedding of her own.

While Andy didn’t quite understand Sarah’s devotion to Disney at first, he quickly became quite fond of the magic as the two of them shared memorable vacations together at the parks and aboard Disney Cruise Line. Andy even planned a surprise trip to Walt Disney World shortly after their engagement to meet with their Disney Wedding Planner and capture their abundant love for one another with an engagement shoot at Epcot.

Sarah walked down the aisle at Disney’s Wedding Pavilion in a pair of customized pumps from The Glass Slipper Collection at DSW with a “once upon a time” decorated sole. Special touches like personalized M&M’s favors, an underwater reception at Living Seas Salon and a dessert party with a private viewing of IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth were just a few elements that allowed Sarah and Andy to bring their fairy tale vision to life.

Real Couple Spotlight: Katie & Chris

Katie and Chris loved the idea of getting married at Walt Disney World- especially after Katie’s mother reminded her that when she was just a little girl she spotted a bride at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and vowed that one day she too would be married at Disney.

Disney was the perfect place to accommodate Chris’s professional Canadian football career and the ideal destination to blend both families. Katie and Chris’s big day was filled with endless surprises- including a crowd favorite appearance by Major Domo at the ceremony and a visit from Mickey Mouse himself at the reception.

Katie’s vision of a winter wonderland wedding was brought to life through snowflake gobos, silver and blue linens and a release of white confetti for the first dance.

Hut, hut, hike!

Real Couple Spotlight: Rach & Dave

Outdoor lovers Rach and Dave knew they wanted a wedding that could embrace their hunger for an enjoyable and entertaining vacation while still having a touch of Disney magic. I can’t think of a better place to have an outdoor wedding than at the Wedding Gazebo at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. Surrounded by roses and a perfectly manicured lawn, it’s the perfect place to say “I do” while taking in the sights and sounds of Disney’s BoardWalk.

Since their big day took place on St. Patrick’s Day, the two were able to infuse some fun holiday elements into their event like subtle hues of green decor, a festive confetti dance party and even an authentic Scottish professional to play the bagpipes for their ceremony!

Just dance,

Real Wedding Spotlight: Jessica & Tyler

As soon as Jessica laid eyes on Disney’s Wedding Pavilion she knew it was the only spot that she could ever wed. Once she met Tyler in college and was surprised with a proposal in Walt Disney World she knew that her big dreams of saying “I do” with a Disney’s Fairy Tale Wedding would soon become a reality.

Jessica and Tyler made no exceptions when it came to treating their guests – they hosted everything from an afternoon tea party at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa before the wedding to an intimate farewell brunch on Disney’s BoardWalk at The Attic.

Jessica’s dream of a romantic fairy tale wedding was complete with themed décor in soft hues of blush and ivory with an abundance of candles, blossoming floral and plush linens.

Real Couple Spotlight: Jess & Matt

Meeting by coincidence through Jess’s little sister, it was love at first site for Jess and Matt. After celebrating endless nights admiring Wishes at Magic Kingdom Park together, Matt got down on one knee after the fireworks show to pop the question in one of the most romantic views on property – at the Rose Garden.

When it came time to say “I do”, Jess and Matt knew that Disney was the perfect atmosphere for their families to meet and spend time together before the big day. The happy couple spent their first Christmas together at Walt Disney World and couldn’t think of a better way to integrate their lives than with a family reunion, magical vacation and fairy tale wedding all wrapped into one weekend.

How cool are the superhero boutonnieres that the groomsmen sported?!
