The verdict is in and the experts over at Pantone announced last week that Emerald is the 2013 color of the year.

Described as “lively, radiant and lush,” emerald is a rich jewel tone that can be found nearly everywhere – after all, green is the most abundant color in nature. While I don’t foresee brides donning a green dress down the aisle, expect the bold color to be at the forefront in décor, jewelry, accessories and floral.

And with the March 2013 release date for Disney’s Oz The Great and Powerful right around the corner, I can’t think of better timing for emerald to make headlines – I’m sensing wedding theme and color ideas galore!

I can’t think of anything I love more than an enchanted photo shoot. And Jessica Frey was able to bring yet another one of my favorite Disney classics to life with her The Little Mermaid inspired shoot – just in time for the opening of New Fantasyland!

The bright metallic color scheme and sea-inspired décor is the perfect pair for any wedding- sand or shore…

Sleeping Beauty is such a romantic love story- in fact, it has always been one of my favorite fairy tales. With the help of a handsome prince and a few feminine pink touches, Jessica Frey was able to make one of my favorite stories come to life in a perfectly modern, fashion-forward way…

By now you’re probably pretty familiar with the princess-inspired shoots done by Krystel at Couture Events. I’ve been anxiously waiting for her to do a Cinderella-inspired story, and today I’m pleased to share that my wish has finally come true!
