Sheryl & Cliff had the privilege of seeing Aulani in its infancy and were able to watch the Resort grow and blossom into the landmark it is today. Since the duo felt their relationship grew along with Aulani, they knew it was the place they wanted to share their vows and celebrate their new life together.

Yesterday I revealed our newest Aulani ad featuring real couple Eileen & Kevin. You’ve seen the photos and you’ve heard their story, so now it’s time to take a peek behind the scenes at the “making of” Eileen & Kevin’s fairy tale.

As you know, Eileen and Kevin were the winners of our Hawaiian Dream Wedding giveaway promotion with LIVE! with Kelly. What you may not know, is that part of their prize package was a feature in our Bringing the Fairy Tale to Life Aulani ad- and we couldn’t have asked to work with a sweeter couple!

I can’t help myself when it comes to behind-the-scenes images, so today I’m sharing a few of my favorites in addition to revealing their ad for the very first time.

Congratulations, newlyweds!

We hosted some of our bridal industry friends while we were at Aulani for LIVE! with Kelly, so I wanted to make sure we did something extra special during their stay.

I thought long and hard, and then it came to me- what better way to pamper and spoil a group of ladies than with an After Hours Princess Party at Laniwai Spa? I’m happy to share that we were the first group to try out this new experience complete with facials, massages and pedis. Of course no party is finished without junk food- think macaroons, cake pops and cupcakes- and a hair and makeup session!

We simply had the BEST time at Laniwai- the staff is beyond amazing and the service is impecible. If you are headed to Aulani, it’s a must-do!

Since returning from Hawaii, I’ve been getting tons of inquiries about the one-of-a-kind aisle runner we used on LIVE! with Kelly. The custom design is actually hand drawn and painted by an in-house designer at Current Affairs and then the individual silk petals are painstakingly glued on by a team of people. Needless to say, no two aisle runners are ever alike!

We couldn’t have picked a better runner option for Makaloa Garden- with the windy nature of Hawaii, this pathway ensured the petals wouldn’t blow away and that our design was always picture-perfect.
