Springy, bold and colorful this Mad Hatter stunner is the perfect marriage of classic meets modern. I love when couples choose larger than life cake toppers to grace their cakes- they quickly become the focal point and add a special surprise and delight moment for your guests.

By now you’re probably pretty familiar with the princess-inspired shoots done by Krystel at Couture Events. I’ve been anxiously waiting for her to do a Cinderella-inspired story, and today I’m pleased to share that my wish has finally come true! Soft pastels, big hair and sugar galore helped make Cinderella’s fairy tale truly come to life in this over-the-top inspiration shoot by Bethann Greenberg Photography.

This dynamic duo met while working at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but when it came time to tie the knot Kris and Jeff packed their bags for a different kind of safari – a Disney’s Vero Beach safari, that is. The couple chose to infuse Vero’s coastline feel into every aspect of their wedding and paid especial attention to detail. From the darling cupcake display to the flip flop shoe check, this event was a coastline lover’s paradise.

As an artist, Linda knew exactly what she wanted her wedding cake to look like. After doing work with white writing on white paper for her own career, she insisted trying it on her cake. The result was a gorgeous four tier white wedding cake filled with words that each meant something special to the couple.

It’s not hard to imagine how stressful the last few hours before your wedding can be- but having your mom, sister or closest friends there can make it so much easier (and more fun!). So enjoy your time getting ready with the most important women in your life- swap stories, laughs and a beauty tip or two. If you live in the present, I guarantee it will help calm any pre-wedding nerves and leave you with memories you’ll cherish forever.
And let’s not forget to mention that moments shared in the bride’s room can make for some of the best photos…
